Many authors will attend this year’s book event. Last year’s event was so successful, that this year Mechanicsburg Mystery Bookshop is adding yours truly.

In Harry Thursday’s fourth outing, the itinerant archaeologist is drawn away from his peaceful home on the Greek Island of Seprios to Flagstaff Arizona, and finds he has stepped from the plane into the intrigue of human greed, political corruption, and murder.
While searching for the things to use in her homemade jewelry, Hok’ee, a young Navajo woman, stumbles onto a hidden deposit of rare Burmese rubies – known as Pigeon’s blood – scattered at the foot of the O’Leary Peak north of Flagstaff. This seemingly innocuous discovery unleashes a series of events more cataclysmic than anyone involved could have imagined. With the help of Sun, his beautiful Hopi guide, Harry sorts through the various factions who may or may not be involved with the rubies or the mounting murders. As Harry uncovers Flagstaff’s secrets, the clues become more and more obscure, but “truth will out.”
What promises to be a short and simple job for the BAR, Harry soon discovers that, when confronted with a choice, making the correct one can make the difference between life and death.
December 8, 2024, The Mechanicsburg Mystery Bookshop presents its Annual Author Showcase
The event starts at 2:00 p.m. We are delighted to be bringing back our Holiday Showcase with three authors, so far. Dennis Boyle, Robert Walton, and Sheryl Ickes will discuss their latest books, give a short reading, and then be available for signings to wrap up the event. Stay tuned for more details.

Bucks County Book Festival ~ Author Event ~ Sunday, October 13, 2019
On Sunday, October 13, 2019, from 11 am to 5 pm in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, authors, myself included, from Sunbury Press Publishing will have a table set up to talk about, sell, and sign our books. There is going to be music and talks by best-selling authors from around the country. There’s a lot to do besides buy books, so come on, I’m here to have fun and meet people. Hope to see you there.
The Book Fest Marketplace is located on Hamilton Street, between East Oakland and East State Street in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
2019 Murder As You Like It ~ Author Panel Event ~ Saturday, August 10, 2019
On Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, I will be at Murder As You Like It Mystery Conference at the Mechanicsburg Mystery Bookshop, located at 6 Clouser Road, at the corner of Clouser Road and Trindle Road, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Reservations are required.
Murder As You Like It is a one-day conference for mystery readers/fans. It’s a chance to hob-nob with your favorite authors and to meet new authors. Authors will talk about writing their novels, and you’ll have a chance to ask questions. We’ve always been fortunate and pleased to attract wonderful authors, and this year is no exception.
And, there will be plenty of time to buy books, and the authors will sign them for you.
